Commanderies Unite for York Rite Festival

For years, one of the complaints about the York Rite Festival has been that two of the Commandery Orders were conferred in short form and consequently cheated candidates out of their full York Rite Experience.

Mt. Vernon Commandery No. 1 and Columbus Commandery No. 69 have volunteered to change that unfortunate tradition.

Mt. Vernon Commandery will confer the Order of the Red Cross in full and ancient form, and Columbus Commandery will do the same with the Order of Malta.

Both Commanderies will work together to confer the Order of the Temple. The York Rite Festival, April 11 and 12, promises to be a memorable experience for candidates and members alike.
